I’ve always been an entrepreneur. I opened my first shop at just 22 years old.

For me, it has always been about delivering something people truly need, and creating something with meaning. For 12 years, I worked with import and export.

In Thailand, where I’m from, hot food full of flavor is part of everyday life – it’s something everyone has access to, all day long.

 

When I moved to Norway at 35 years old, I missed having easy access to good food on the go. I missed takeaway food and drinks that didn’t cost a fortune. In daily life, the options were often coffee that tasted like water, baguettes, sandwiches, sausages – or other dry items from the counter. It lacked flavor and was expensive. I wanted to change that, and that’s why I started Zaab Café.

At Zaab, you’ll find grab & go food that truly tastes great. Hot meals, Asian fusion, street food, and exciting drinks like bubble tea, frappé, and matcha – perfect in the middle of a busy day or on your way home. Not restaurant prices, but prices that make it easy to come back again and again.

The menu is inspired by what I personally love and have grown up with: satay, dim sum, panang, green and red curry, rice dishes, butter chicken, Asian fusion dishes, and street food made with fresh ingredients. It’s not limited to one nationality, but built around flavor – with new and delicious dishes added regularly.
